Announcement - 2021 Football Fund-CRAZR Sweepstakes!
October 3rd, 2021
Dear Parishioners of Immaculate Conception:
This past 18 months we experienced a lengthy period of the COVID-19 pandemic, and our Dennison Council 576 did not have
opportunities to generate income for our various programs and charities. Each of these programs requires a certain amount of
money for its success. We feel that the FUND CRAZR FOOTBALL SWEEPSTAKES is a program that will help accomplish
our goals this fraternal year.
The Ohio State Council has created the “FOOTBALL FUND CRAZR SWEEPSTAKES” program that will help offset our
State Council per capita tax, along with adding additional funds into our treasury. The program involves the last 10 weeks of
games played by the NFL this season – games that will be played between November 4, 2020 and January 9, 2022. Winners are
determined by ticket holders with the four teams that score the most – or the least – number of points in that given week of
games.
So, what does this mean for our council? If we sell our ticket quota of 213 tickets, along with the percentage of State Council
sales, our council may not need to pay our State Per Capita tax, in addition of receiving a rebate check of $10.50 for each ticket
sold. The more tickets we sell – the more rebate amount we get back! In the past, we have received a credit of around $300 off
our per capita and around $1,000 in rebate money. All this money is invested back into Immaculate Conception Church and
School (St. Mary’s), as well as the local community.
The cost for each ticket is $20.00. Initially, that might seem high. However, remember this is a 10-week program with over
$25,000 in prizes being awarded to over 230 winners – ranging from $40.00 to $400.00 weekly – that equates to only $2.00 per
week. Winners will be notified and automatically paid each week by the Ohio State Council.
In closing, be assured that this fundraiser is our chance to make some additional money for our programs. If you need any
additional tickets, please contact Ryan Barnabi, Larry Valentine, or Jerry Cole, or any Brother Knight. Your support of this
endeavor will be very helpful for our council and be greatly appreciated.
God Bless,
Ryan Barnabi
